DESCRIPTION
The Drache is powered by a high-capacity power cell, and is equipped with a single Lifter module for its basic means of vertical propulsion. Its horizontal movement is executed by tilting itself and using its shifted center of upward propulsion to maneuver itself in the target direction.
Classified as small-sized aircraft, the Drache has a relatively short operating time, and has been effectively limited to short-distance travel or when operating near an available means of recharging its on-board power cells. Though primarily intended for low-altitude flight, the Drache is still capable of operation at high-altitudes with some minor adjustments, and is fitted with an inexpensive stock wing system for added stability to cater for these situations.
While not fragile in the strictest sense, the basic Drache is not built for resiliance against threats such as air pirates. As a small countermeasure, the sides of the Drache can also be equipped with optional chaff flares to scramble sensors and disrupt seeking weapons to support its escape when needed.
Due to its low price yet high reliability, the Drache is a popular vehicle model used for recreational purposes, and its base model is used for many combat-based customizations used by many factions ranging from law enforcement and air pirates; the front of its hull is plain and fitted with a hollow stub, allowing factions to apply customizations easily.
