Character History
Born to a long family line of Digouters, Roll has been exposed to her grandfather's research and her parents' influence since infancy. Because of their influence, she has grown up with a strong interest in following her family line's profession and has begun her studies & training under her grandfather Barell at an early age.
During her early stages of basic training, she has shown an exceptional apitude in handling and tinkering with machinery. Barell acknowledged her obvious natural talents, and has focused the teachings based around the handling and maintenance of the family's machinery.
When Roll first met the Casquet Family's new adopted member, the name "Rock" suddenly came to her, and thus playfully called this boy by that name, which he has accepted gladly.
Though her parents went missing during an expedition when she was still very young, their absence has only given her a stronger resolve to continue on this path in hopes of finding them one day.
Skills & Abilities
Roll is a highly skilled and effective mechanic; she is responsible for the development and maintenance of the majority of the family's mechanical and electronic equipment such as Rock's Digouter equipment and the Flutter. Having studied mechanical design and development at a young age, her skills make her capable of using seemingly useless junk and salvaged parts to develop practical tools and weapons of many kinds.
Another of Roll's main abilities is her analytical skills as an Operator for Rock during Digouts. Her data analytical skills and attention to detail are minute, and at times excessive to a fault. However, these traits of hers do not clash with her ability to relate to others, and is genuinely in the interests and safety of Rock and the rest of the family.
Despite her lack of on-hands experience due to her typical responsibilities as an Operator, Roll is physically fit and said to be a good shot and a capable driver and pilot of various vehicles. Perhaps there is more to her that's not obvious at first glance...?

- The spelling for Roll's surname "Casquet" is taken directly from the manual of DASH 2 (for PSP); the original Playstation release spells her surname as "Casket" or "Caskett".
